Britain becoming nation of pill-takers?

The Times reported RPSGB research into 2008 prescribing in the NHS. They found that nearly half of over-65s are taking five or more drugs. More than 60 per cent of 500 people surveyed believed that they may be suffering side-effects from their drugs, but many did not tell a doctor.
